Services for Younger Adults
Oxford Aunts Care is pleased to announce that it is expanding its client group to include adults under the age of 60 years.
This extended service will be fully managed by Senior Care Manager, Fiona Smith RN, who will continue to follow Oxford Aunts service guidelines as per this brochure.
Conditions include:-
- Neurological –
- Sudden onset conditions i.e. brain injury, young onset stroke
- Intermittent & unpredictable i.e. epilepsy, early stages of MS
- Progressive conditions i.e. MND, MS, early onset dementia, Huntington's, muscular dystrophy
- Stable neurological conditions i.e. cerebral palsy
- Cardiac
- Respiratory
Unfortunately we are unable to provide this service to clients with Spinal Injury at this time.
As well as our mandatory induction training carers will either have previous experience or be given relevant training to the appropriate skill level for the above conditions.
